Today I completed 50 hours in 50 dives on my Rebreather (CCR), in just under 6 months! The CCR is primarily a tool for me, which I decided to invest in mainly for cave diving. I believe it increases safety when used properly. I’m already a Full Cave Diver, but to use this tool in future cave dives, I needed to complete at least those 50 hours and 50 dives. It was an intense seven days! There were a lot of new skills to learn, both in the classroom (theory) and later put into practice in the sea. Jacek has been the best instructor I’ve ever had. I’ve completed many diving courses over the past 20 years, but the quality of this course and the teaching has been truly world-class. It was slightly easier for me to pick up the new CCR skills since I had previously completed a course and some practice on a rebreather already — an SCR.
